Traditional Czech production of solid-fuel household appliances
The KVS MORAVIA 9100-type solid-fuel range cooker with an oven is intended for heating, cooking, roasting/baking and (re)-heating of meals. This cooker is also manufactured in a version with a heat exchange unit (type 9100-HEU). A spacious firebox can be easily adjusted for summer or winter operation (removable top grate). One of many other advantages is the variability of connections to a chimney.
Already in its standard version, the cooker has 3 outlets for combustion gases for connection to a chimney from the back, from a side or from above (Note: when a glass-ceramic hob is used, connection is only possible from a side or back wall). All these outlets are situated next to one another – dvantages is the variability of connections to a chimney. see the photo.

The KVS MORAVIA 9100-type range cooker is designed to be used mainly with a recommended fuel such as wood and brown coal, and wood and brown-coal briquettes can be used with this appliance as well.
This cooker is well usable for cooking, baking/roasting and heating of the room in which it is installed. It is so efficient that it can heat other adjacent spaces as well. This is down to the properties of the materials used and its robust construction, which is also documented by its total weight of 155 kg. The materials used in the manufacture of this type are similar as compared with the other types of KVS MORAVIA appliances.
The cooker oven is of greater dimensions and it includes a grid and baking tray as well. It has excellent baking capabilities, which is down to the actual construction of the cooker because flames flow around the entire perimeter of the oven. From this point of view, this type will be more suitable if you prefer roasting/baking and cooking to heating.
The cooker firebox ranks amongst the largest in this category of appliances and it consists, as usual, of fire bricks and is divided into two parts by means of cast-iron grates. Such arrangement offers two options for operation:
Cooling panels can be used to build the cooker into a fitted kitchen. If upper cabinets above the cooker are also part of the fitted kitchen, it is necessary to insulate them from heat and steam, e.g. by means of an extractor hood or in another way. Otherwise the fitted kitchen may get damaged.
